Pennsylvania: Murata Business Plan Competition

Purpose of Competition
This competition is designed to encourage aspiring entrepreneurs looking to start a business in South Central Pennsylvania.

Who Can Participate

    Open to any resident of South Central PA
    Non-retail business plans are accepted
    Existing companies in business for less than two years are also eligible to compete.
    Winner will be required to begin and maintain the business at the Murata Business Center for a period of two years

Competition Timeline

Applicants will develop a business plan and present it to a panel of judges at an event on April 29, 2008 .

What’s In It For You

Prizes - $30,000 worth of free products and services including
Other Prizes: 6-months free rent at the Murata Business Center
Technical assistance : a board of advisors priority assistance from colleges
who can provide trained student interns

This competition is one of three sponsored by the Start Me Up entrepreneurship promotion of the Harrisburg Regional Chamber of Commerce which is also offering the College Venture Challenge and the CREDC Fab 5 competition.
