Observation of National Entreprenuership Week Starts February 23
Written on February 20, 2008 by Amanda M. Gladden

This is the second year the Consortium for Entrepreneurship Education is sponsoring National Entrepreneurship Week, calling it “a Celebration of the heritage of entrepreneurship in America and NEW opportunities for a NEW GENERATION”.
(note: this celebration is different than one sponsored by The Kauffman Foundation in partnership with the UK Enterprise Week which is dubbed Global Entrepreneurship Week to be observed in November, 2008)
Check here or here to see if your state or city has posted local events in observation of 2008 National Entrepreneurship Week.
Cisco is celebrating by sponsoring the National Entrepreneurship Summit with live shows streaming on the web daily.

Thanks for the link. I’d never heard of this event/week. Checking the links you posted I see Bridgewater State College is hosting an event on the 26th which I would have missed otherwise. Most are focused in southeast MA at UMass Darthmouth or Bridgewater State. I’ll let you know how the event goes.
Thanks

I had never heard of this event either but given that I am an entrepreneur as well it was interesting to check it out! Events like this need some more publicity it is great that you have posted it on your blog and I love your blog title by the way. Thanks

Good info-but *sigh* my state, Utah, is not on the list as far as I could see.

I love the name of your site. Many of us underestimate our abilities. Women start your business indeed.

I am only a wanna-be entrepreneur but I still find this very intriguing…
Thanks for the heads up! I didn’t even know that National Entrepreneurship Week existed.

The Entrepreneurship Summit sounds like a great event that more people should be aware of.
