Kathleen Maher, Member of WSYBN Community Made it to the ABNA Semi-finals!
Written on January 20, 2008 by Amanda M. Gladden
Kathleen Maher, loyal fan of Woman Start Your Business Now.com (WSYNB) saw my post last fall about the Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award contest. She took action right away, entered the contest and comes back often to leave updates about her progress.
Well guess what? Her novel is now in the semi finals. I’m excited! Wouldn’t it be awesome if someone who reads my competition listings were to actually win something?
Can you take a few moments and offer Kathleen your support by visiting the Amazon page for her novel Dairy of a Heretic and read, rate and/or review the excerpt that is posted?
From the ABNA site:
Every semifinalist excerpt is available to read as a free download. When you read excerpts from the semifinalists and post reviews, you’ll be in the running to win a prize package (including an Amazon Kindle, a $2,000 Amazon.com gift certificate, and an HP photo printer) for providing the most–and the most high-quality–reviews.
Help decide who will make it to the Top Ten. Penguin will select manuscripts to read from the semifinal round based on customers’ feedback and Publishers Weekly reviews. The 10 finalists selected from this round will be announced on March 3. Customers will then vote to select the winner, to be announced April 7, 2008.
Good luck Kathleen!

Congratulations Kathleen. You have been a big inspiration for my wife. She didn’t want me to post and tell you, she likes to keep quiet. But thanks for everything.
